This device was used in large language studios in the (presumably) 1970s.
Technically, it is quite closely related to other ASC devices and also to Braun devices (TG 1000/1020). In some cases, even identical (especially mechanical) components were used. The similarity to Braun devices stems from the fact that, to my knowledge, ASC was founded by several former Braun engineers. However, due to their special purpose, there are also major differences compared to “normal” tape recorders. |
