| The Report 4000 IC is a further development of its predecessor models (Report 4000 B, Report 4000 S, Report 4000 L). The somewhat exaggerated term “IC” in the name refers to an integrated circuit in the power amplifier. However, the rest of the electronics are still built (discreetly) with individual transistors. However, significant advances were the now built-in tape drive stabilizer and the (switchable) automatic level control. |
